What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns and business returns while providing valuable consulting including tax planning and projections.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and serve as their go-to tax advisor.
• Help small businesses with their accounting needs, including payroll and G/L entries.
• Stay ahead of tax changes and research issues to provide top-notch service.
• Collaborate with our tight-knit team to elevate our positive, growth-oriented culture.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience preparing individual tax returns (bonus points if you’ve worked with small business clients too!).
• Technical Skills: Strong foundation in tax and accounting principles, proficiency in tax software, and a knack for research.
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA license is preferred (but if you don’t have it yet, we’ll help you get there within 2 years).
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting software is a plus.
• Communication Skills: We need someone who can explain complex tax concepts in a way clients can understand and appreciate.
