Comeback of the Bald Eagle in Michigan

The Library welcomes back Dr. Carl Palazzolo, a wildlife veterinarian with more than 47 years of experience, to present his book, The Comeback of Our National Symbol in Michigan. The 200-page hardcover coffee-table book features 174 photographs and represents ten years of work. Attendees will enjoy beautiful bald eagle photography while learning about their biology and the medical and surgical care provided to injured eagles. Proceeds from book sales benefit wildlife rehabilitators and others who work behind the scenes to care for injured wildlife.
