The LWVNLM is hosting a public forum at the LTBB Government Center to learn how local farmers are affected by climate change and government policy.
Our speaker, Juliette McAvoy is the VP of Sales & Marketing for King Orchards. She has been involved in advocacy roles within both agriculture and climate protections for the last decade. She is currently the Chairwoman of the Michigan Cherry Committee and a member of the Great Lakes Business Network. A question and answer period will be held at the end of the presentation.
